Deputy PM: Govt to open portal with reliable info on current issues

MOSCOW, Mar 1 (PRIME) -- The Russian government will launch portal Объясняем.РФ, or Explaining.RF, as a source of reliable information on the current issues, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said on Tuesday.

“It is important for the government to bring to the people recent and trustworthy information. This is why the prime minister decided to launch information resource Объясняем.РФ. The new portal will become a source of verified, official, and, which is crucial, latest information, which will be updated online,” Chernyshenko said.

He said the resource will work in a way similar to the COVID-dedicated portal, Стопкоронавирус.РФ. The portal has answers to the most urgent questions about all the spheres, which were picked from social networks in every region – from transport to financial stability.

“The people will be able to send their questions about the current situation in the country via a feedback form. Requests will be accepted via pages of Объясняем.РФ on social networks – Telegram, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, and Viber,” Chernyshenko said.

The requests will be monitored constantly, and all the ministries and agencies will be engaged in the work.
